        Edit Anything Plus does not track you, does not use external servers, does not display ads, and never transmits or sells your data. Everything you edit stays strictly on your computer.

1. Data Collection and Usage

The Extension operates entirely within your local browser ecosystem. It handles data in the following ways:

Webpage HTML Modifications: When you modify a website and explicitly click "Save Edits Permanently" (or use the keybind), the modified inner HTML layout of that body is saved using the browser's local sandbox storage (chrome.storage.local).
URLs Mapping: The extension stores your HTML changes alongside the exact website URL string you edited so that it knows exactly which page layout to swap when you revisit the site.

2. Third-Party Data Transmission

We do not transmit your data anywhere. The Extension has zero backend database systems or tracking scripts. All data processed by the Extension remains locked inside your device's local memory footprint. No data is collected, hosted, shared, or processed by the extension developer or any external third parties.

3. Data Storage and Retention

All saved variations of web page data are stored securely within your profile's segregated Google Chrome storage cluster.
Your data stays on your local machine indefinitely until you manually decide to clear it via the extension popup ("Revert Saved Edits") or by uninstalling the Extension from your browser.

4. Manifest V3 & Browser Permissions Compliance

To deliver its core utility, the Extension requests minimal, non-invasive permissions strictly adhering to Manifest V3 standards:

storage: Required entirely to load and preserve your custom variations locally.
activeTab: Required to execute commands safely on your foreground tab when initiated by clicking or keybinding.
host_permissions (<all_urls>): Essential to dynamically load your local layouts before pages finish rendering on any domain you choose to customize.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this local privacy policy if extension features change. Any future updates will remain fundamentally committed to treating your personal and behavioral browsing data with absolute security and zero data-broker dissemination.
